Hair and the the Redlands Temple
Very recently, last Wednesday; the temple taught me something that I wasn't expecting.

Normally, I go to the temple with my hair combed in a part. That's when it is long, long enough to part. But recently I cut my hair, shortening it. So naturally, because it was so short, I didn't comb it on this trip to the temple.
Our nightly appointment was GRAND. My ward (Deer Creek YSA) was there to do baptisms for the dead. Not only did I get to participate as baptizer and witness but I also got to baptize my sister, who recently got back from a mission to Argentina Neuquen.

What I learned however didn't take place until I was baptized by Art Brown. After the fact, I took a good look of my hair, and somehow, it was magically parted to perfection. So what I thought I couldn't do, was naturally possible and attainable, because of the temple. I learned that the temple actually makes me a better person, physically and spiritually.
The temple is there for us. I truly believe that. Like the great line "if you feel like you shouldn't pray, that is when you should pray the most," "IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU SHOULD NOT GO TO THEM TEMPLE, THAT IS PROBABLY THE TIME THAT YOU SHOULD GO THE MOST."
